On July 25, went down to Dukes Lake around 8pm. The weather was comfortable: temp was a beautiful 64F, light east wind, overcast with some occasional, light rain. There were no waves on the lake at all.
After casting in different places, I finally found a hole with some small (2-3″) rock bass. About 8:30, began catching bullhead catfish in the same spot. By 9:30 the mosquitoes were biting and I had 8 bullheads. All were between 8 and 10 inches.
I’ll have to make sure to take a picture to post next time.
The evening on the lake was nice and quiet.
